Before the election, the Ohio House took up a bill to repeal and replace Common Core in our state. The bill, Sub. House Bill 597, will get Common Core out of our classrooms in Ohio and put us on a path to developing our own high quality standards. The bill has been voted out of committee and now it is time for it to go to the House floor for a vote.
Sign our petition below to tell representatives, state senators, and Governor Kasich we expect a full repeal of Common Core in Ohio.
- The petition states that we expect our elected officials to vote on and sign into law Sub. House Bill 597 – the repeal and replacement of the Common Core State Standards in Ohio.
- When you sign, please provide your information so we can match your petition with your representative. They need to know how many in their district want Common Core stopped.
Important! When you submit your petition, you will receive a “one-click” link by email so you can share this petition with friends on Facebook. Those pushing Common Core have spent millions on this issue. The people will only win if each person does his or her part – please sign and share with others.
